Manchester United are known to start a charge during the festive season. Traditionally United have done well during this part of the season.
City are playing really well and will be really hard to stop them, but looking at the fixtures, City have some really tough games to come.
The next eight games will be a real test for City as they play Liverpool, home and away. There is also a trip to Stamford Bridge on 10 Dec and the very next weekend they host Arsenal. These games could really test City, and could be a pivotal at the end of the season.
United on the other hand have some really easier games compared to City. The only test could be Newcastle United who have had a good start to the season.
United will be striving to get maximum points during these round of matches and hope that City slip up in the next few weeks. This could lead us to a very exciting 2012.
